Curtis and Stacey were married on a beautiful day in January.
Because we had such a mild winter, I knew we might be able to get some outdoor images for this wedding.
It was a great day and as you can tell we managed to have some great times outside.

Curtis and Stacey had an evening wedding and the ambiance was really wonderful and felt cozy.

Thank you both for including me in your wedding day! What a blast it was to hang out with you and your family!

This post is SOOO overdue.
Erin and Jason were married in her families yard in September under a beautiful deep blue sky and surrounded by a very wonderfully rich in relationships family.
I adored all the details they put into their country picnic themed wedding.
The hay bails in the yard, sunflowers,… ohhhh the work Erins mother put into her yard!

Their reception was decorated with burlap wrapped sunflowers and lampposts and as a favor to their friends
Erin’s Grandmother made a serious truckload of homemade jam.

I was so honoured to be a part of Erin and Jason’s day, especially since they called me the day after they were engaged.
It means so much to me when people follow my work and include me in their day.

Paige and Keith :: Bassano Wedding Photography ::

Paige and Keith were married under a hot sun on a beautiful weekend next to the Bassano Dam.
This was my first wedding in the Bassano area and I loved it. It’s not much different than Brooks, but it certainly has it’s own identity.
I particularly loved getting to know Paige and Keiths families and friends and photographing all of them.

Another thing I loved about Paige and Keith is our first meeting. Keith was full of questions, comments and conversation.
It always means a lot to me when the groom cares, when they know what they want and when they can express it clearly.

Paige’s family is originally from Bassano but moved to Australia where she grew up. I loved the Australian influence to their day and reception.

Yes, it’s about 4 months behind, but here is a little piece of hot hot summer love for this beautiful wintery day.

Ahhhh…. A reflection of summer for you all on this Summery September Day.

Ashley and Dale were married in June on a beautiful day with beautiful people around them.
These two are Brooks, Alberta people and they were surrounded by such a rich group of locals, a real feeling of community.
I knew of these two before they contacted me to photograph their wedding, and I had photographed Ashley’s sisters families before
so I was eager to get the opportunity to be a part of their wedding.
They have kind and big hearts and I loved getting to know them throughout their wedding day.

Just look for their own gaze, or glances toward each other in these photos.
Love gives me goosebumps.
Thank you Ashley & Dale. Your wedding was a blast!

Brittney & Zac are hitched! :: Brooks Alberta Wedding Photography ::

Brittney and Zac were married on a blustery rainy day in June.
The clouds were deep in colour and shape and unfortunately for us the wind was too strong for outdoor photos.
HOWEVER, this did nothing to stop the celebrations.
Brittney and Zac are both from incredible families and are surrounded by dedicated friends as well.
The details that surrounded this wedding blew the socks off of me.
The grain they saved from last years crops for their centerpieces, the dressers and doors for decor.
The way the managed to make a hockey arena look so cozy!

The ceremony was hosted at Zac’s families farm and inside one of the buildings. It too was set up with so much attention.
The candles, the stumps lining the aisle, the big letters on the door.

It was a dream to photograph and dreamy to be a part of their day and watch them begin something new together.
After MUCH delay, here is the blog post.

Dale & Ashley had such a beautiful day for their outdoor wedding!
