I’m pretty excited for Erika and Cody’s wedding in a couple of weeks, especially after visiting their neck of the woods last week, in Jenner,AB.
To be fair, when I drove up to their place, I looked around and thought.. “oh man, how am I going to do this with no tree’s!”
It was 7pm, my favourite time do to photos, but it was bald prairies with limited coverage. I stinking love the bald prairies,
on my drive out I spotted several antelope and the undulating hills to the north were magnificently lit.
After snapping a few images in their yard, Erika said they would like to head down to the river for the rest.
BOOM!
My eyes feasted on filtered sunlight through the trees, bouncing off the river and blanketing the now close by undulating hills.
The prairies are so rich in beauty and are very inspiring and I love the opportunity to photograph people who are
so invested in their land and area.
I can hardly wait for their wedding at Buffalo!
Their little guy joined us on our adventure and I was happy to catch a few shots of him exploring and enjoying the evening.
